This blog constitutes my foolishness. It is not a democracy. If you don't agree with the perspective, sense of humor, sensibility or lack thereof, that's ok. You're still welcome. If it bugs you beyond that, go get your own blog. Your feelings are your responsibility, and yours alone. I have to manage mine. I have no time or interest for managing yours. An escapee from Organized Religion, father of four, husband of a patient woman, I am fortunate to enjoy the most peculiar and best family on earth, and have had a lot more fun as a baseball fan since 2004, as I am a dorky, card-carrying member of Red Sox Nation.
I still treasure the moment of joy when "There's a ground ball stabbed by Foulke. He has it. He underhands to first, and the Boston Red Sox are the World Champions. For the first time in 86 years, the Red Sox are baseball's World Champions!" (Thank you, Joe Castiglione!)
I believe that should there ever be a need to expand Mount Rushmore into a quintet of heroes, Big Papi would be an excellent candidate for inclusion.
