Bottom 7

Beckett's Game 7 stint against the Cubs in 2003 has been mentioned by McCarver. He threw 4 innings of one hit, one run ball in that game on 2 days rest. Might we see him in a Game 7 with 3 days' rest?
Peralta leads off the bottom of the 7th. He grounds to Lowell who makes a sensational play far, far to his left and on to Youk. One out.
Drew has replaced Kielty in right.
Lofton's up and takes strike one on the outside. At 2-2 Lofton reaches, smacked one back through the box and Beckett missed it. E1.
Gutierrez takes ball one. At 3-1 he flies to Coco in left-center.
Blake is next. Nobody is even warming in the pen. It's Josh's game. A rather nasty breaking ball is in for strike 1. One of those knee bucklers. Blake looked bad. But not as bad as he looked on a called third strike at 1-2.
Lofton left stranded, Sox still lead 4-1.
Beckett, Inning: 16 pitches, 10 strikes; Game: 96 pitches, 66 strikes.
I'd bring Okajima for the 8th and Pap for the 9th, although I couldn't criticize Tito if Josh pitches the 8th.
